POLISHING

Polished edges are achieved by buffing the edge of the glass with a fine abrasive material and polishing oil. This meticulous process results in a beautifully translucent finish. Flat polished edges, in particular, are ideal for thicker glass applications, commonly used in shelves and frameless shower enclosures. The polished edges not only enhance the aesthetics but also contribute to the overall safety and functionality of the glass.

BEVELING

Beveled glass is typically crafted by taking thick glass and creating an angled surface cut, known as a bevel, around the entire periphery. The bevels act as prisms when exposed to sunlight, resulting in an interesting color refraction. This effect not only highlights the intricacies of the glasswork but also introduces a spectrum of colors that would be absent in clear float glass. Beveled glass is often chosen for its decorative and aesthetic qualities, adding a touch of elegance to various glass applications.
