Mirror

Mirrored glass, also known as mirror glass or silvered glass, belongs to the category of float glass—whether regular or tinted. It is crafted with a silver and copper reflective coating applied to the back surface, followed by one or two layers of protective paint. Subsequently, a backing is added after processing to enhance impact safety and provide additional moisture protection.

This type of glass finds diverse applications, including:

  • Homes, commercial premises, and leisure facilities.
  • Wardrobe doors and mirrored furniture.
  • Gymnasiums, nightclubs and changing rooms.

At Juno Mirrors & Glass we offer a wide range of mirror available in thicknesses 4mm and 6mm:

  • Regular silver mirror, bronze mirror, grey mirror, peach mirror, blue mirror, gold mirror and antique mirror.

Antique mirror styles replicate the degradation seen in traditional mercury mirror plates. This design approach captures the vintage aesthetic associated with aged mirrors, providing a classic and timeless appearance.

In addition to traditional degradation, the antiqued mirrors can feature less conventional looks, incorporating gold or silver speckles. This adds a touch of glamour and sophistication to the mirror, creating a unique and visually striking effect. These mirrors are versatile and can be used in various applications, such as:

  • Decorative mirrors
  • Feature pieces
  • Bar mirrors
  • Furniture elements
  • Interior design projects where a vintage aesthetic is desired.

Whether replicating a vintage feel or incorporating modern elements, these mirrors offer a touch of elegance and character to interior spaces.
